Good Eats

We’ve decided to get a little more personal and describe how we typically eat on a day to day basis. As we’ve mentioned before, we lead a healthy lifestyle (ehem…the majority of the time—from time to time ya girl’s just need a donut or three shots of tequila) including eating Paleo and working out daily. We wanna start motivating you to treat your body right too. The perfect start to this kind of lifestyle is Whole30. The 30 day program is a little more intense than Paleo because the thought of dessert type substitutions does not even exist. If you stay strict to the rules you’ll feel a million times better inside and out. It’s the perfect reset for your mind, body, and soul.

Both Whole30 and Paleo are consistent in the no sugar/no dairy/ no legumes/ no grains/no alcohol guidelines, however more replacements are allowed in Paleo. According to Whole30.com, “The goal of the Whole30 is to eliminate all foods that may be having a negative psychological or physiological effect on how you look, feel and live. As such, some technically “Paleo” foods (like honey, or desserts made with almond flour) are ruled out for the duration of your program.” …sums everything up perfectly. As far as our workouts go, check out “Outpost Estates” to see our regime.

This is probably one of our top three favorite Paleo dishes so far. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Let us know what meals or snacks you wanna see made Paleo and we’ll experiment for you…

Always and Forever,

Disclaimer: We are by no means nutritionists. While we follow a Paleo lifestyle for health benefits (as we both have tons of stomach issues), we encourage you to seek professional counsel before making any significant changes to the way you eat.
