Bargain Hunting

We started a new workout plan this week called “21 Day Fix”, and we really can’t use our legs anymore. Our mindset was that it was going to be super easy since we had just come off two rounds of Kayla Itsines “Bikini Body Guide 1.0” and that it would  be nice to try a new workout…boy, were we wrong. It’s hard, but so worth it. We both felt more energized almost immediately. Considering we don’t believe in using food as “rewards” for sticking to exercise, we decided to treat ourselves to a little shopping. We started at Zara where Miriah finally found the perfect boyfriend jeans that she’s been lusting after for quite some time now. Then we headed out to try some second hand stores.

Shopping at consignments stores and thrift shops can be a little daunting–sometimes overcrowded, unorganized, and worst of all dirty. It’s super easy to get frustrated and give up. Patience and an open mind really are key. You have to be able to set time aside to be able to dig around to find the good stuff. And that’s just what we did… After literal hours of searching today (we started with the $1 rummage sale at Jet Rag at 9am), we finally hit the jackpot at Wasteland and Crossroads Trading Post on Melrose. We can’t wait to show you what we found!

Always and Forever,

Lexi & Miriah
